Case Study
Distressed-asset investment & restructuring (private equity)
Tiffund Finance Ltd was a UK investment firm with a specific model: acquiring stakes in companies going through financial difficulty, restructuring them, and exiting three to five years later. Organic search traffic was low relative to how competitive the relevant keyword space was.
UK financial-services search terms are heavily contested, and Tiffund was competing for visibility against far larger, better-resourced incumbents in the same keyword space.
Work began with on-page fixes and keyword research in 2010–2011, then continued across the full ten years of the relationship: content marketing (blog posts and press releases), link building, local SEO, and ongoing monitoring.
A meaningful share of the most competitive target terms never reached a ranking that mattered for the business - the competition in this category outspent and outweighed what a single-firm content program could overcome for those specific terms.
Monthly organic traffic grew from 183 visits to 402 early in the engagement, then to 1,564 by 2020 - modest, credible growth for a specialist B2B investment firm rather than a mass-market business.
